Though quite pricey, Lauren B. Beauty is quickly becoming one of my new favorite nail polish brands.

Lauren B. Beauty is a smaller, indie, green-beauty nail polish brand that has been featured in a few subscription boxes: in my experience, I’ve received a polish in Boxycharm, Allure Beauty Box and GoodBeing. Her nail polishes are cruelty-free, vegan and free of nastiness like formaldehyde, DBP, toluene, resin and camphor. But her branding and aesthetic is anything but granola: the sleek, rectangular bottle, cursive script merged with handwritten sanserif fonts scream luxury beauty.

I admit, these nail polishes are not cheap at $18 a bottle. But if you sign up to be a part of their mailing list, they have a 15% discount. Goodbeing also offers discounts for Lauren B Beauty as well, which was how I purchased these 3. All are gorgeous for fall (although where I live right now, we are missing out on the full fall experience because of the fires and smoke). Her nail polishes mostly consist of pales and brights, but she has room for vampy shades in her collection.

Wow, this is deep red is stunning! To me, this is like the nail polish version of MAC Diva, except it’s cruelty-free. It suits different types of women, whether you’re edgy rocker-chick or girly (or a bit of both). You can also wear it during the winter time too if you’re not digging a bright, festive red.

Honestly, I am a bit disappointed in this one. On the website, it’s displayed as a much deeper brown shade and it’s described as a luscious deep caramel glaze with red undertones. In person, it’s actually a suede shade with yellow undertones. Which I like on clothes. But not as nail polish because it kinda blends with my hand. But don’t count it out! This would be better suited for someone with really fair skin or deep skin tones.

Out of all 3 polishes, this deep emerald green is my absolute favorite! It applies so smoothly and has a metallic sheen and shimmer. I can see myself wearing this and using this up a lot: it especially seems like a go-to night out party polish.

If you haven’t checked Lauren B. Beauty out, I highly, highly recommend her polishes: gorgeous colors, clean and free of colors, high-quality and doesn’t chip as quickly and super luxurious. Because of how expensive it is, I like to view her polishes as a rare treat, especially when I get an offer from Goodbeing.
